The Miracle Mile Event has a long history and provides an opportunity for everyone in Stockton to have fun. Affiliated to automobile enthusiasts it is part of an olden pastime - Cruising. Old timers would drive cars up and down the mile on nice summer nights. This traditional activity is now turned around into an event.
Miracle Mile Night sees the closure of Pacific Avenue from Wyandotte St. to Walnut St. The event showcases street festivals and fairs along with a classic car show and rock music events. Two great patios at Centrale and Cibo di Vino allow audiences to be able to eat and drink while enjoying the music.
The main stage features music down the ages early on in the show, to gravitate towards popular current music by well known bands. An alternate stage located elsewhere in the area offers more variety for the ears. An awards ceremony takes place later on.
An Arts and Crafts section featuring regional produce offers an assortment of goodies - from homemade eatables to custom made products. Wine & Beer Tasting events can be enjoyed to sample from local wineries.
